5 Reasons Why Your CrossFit Progress Has Stalled

  1. You cherry pick workouts. 
    • You skip workouts you “suck at” or skip the aerobic or barbell focused workouts. By skipping the workouts you don’t like you hinder the adaptations required to create a well balanced athlete within our GPP program. 
  2. You don’t focus on technique 
    • Instead of lowering the weight or taking the proper “scaling option” for the movement you’re learning, you allow your pride to hold you back by allowing improper movement patterns which end up stalling progress or making you plateaus. 
  3. You train hard but recover poorly 
    • Instead of focusing on the “small things” that are actually the “big things” you just train and go on with your life. Ignoring nutrition, hydration, and a proper sleeping routine.

  4. You avoid accountability 
    • Not talking to your coach about your goals = no plan = no progress. Talk to your coach, give them insight on what you’re trying to achieve. I promise you, we’ll reach out and keep you honest with your goals
  5. Nutrition is an afterthought 
    • What doesn’t get tracked, doesn’t get measured. You can’t forge elite fitness off 1 meal per day! Take time and focus on consuming the proper amount of protein, carbs, and fats and watch your performances increase.
