Show Up. Keep Going. See Results.
by Coach Josh

Been thinking a lot lately about the best way to get the results you want.
Change is possible. But it doesn’t come from a perfect plan or one great workout. It comes from showing up. Over and over again. Not with pressure to be perfect, but with the willingness to try.
At CrossFit Fortem, I’ve seen lives change not because people were already fit, but because they committed to a process that works. If you want to see results, here’s what I’ve learned makes the biggest difference:
1. Show Up With Purpose.
When you show up, engage. Listen to your coach. Trust your effort. Don’t cherry-pick the days that look easy. Growth lives in the work you’re most tempted to avoid.
2. Be Consistent.
Progress doesn’t shout, it whispers. And it shows up quietly for the ones who keep showing up, even on the days they don’t feel like it. Progress doesn’t show up in 3 days. It shows up in 3 months. Or 6. Or a year. But it does show up.
3. Fuel Your Body.
What you eat matters. It’s not about perfection, it’s about giving your body what it needs to recover, rebuild, and thrive. Learn about nutrition and apply it to your life! (We can help!)
4. Use Your Coaches.
We’re not here to just count reps or start the clock, we’re here to walk with you. Ask for help. Let us guide you. That’s the heart of Fortem.
5. Track Your Progress.
Don’t forget how far you’ve come. Small wins become breakthroughs when you pay attention to them.
6. Scale Intelligently.
Scaling isn’t weakness, it’s wisdom. Our method is built on universal movements and relative intensity. That means it works for you, not against you.
7. Be Patient. Stay Positive.
You won’t PR every week. Some days will feel heavy. Some workouts will feel slow. But results show up in other ways too — more energy, better sleep, sharper focus, less stress, stronger mindset.
8. Lean On Others.
People need people and that’s the truth. Show up for you and show up for others.
You’re not too far gone. You’re not behind. You’re right on time.
And if you need someone in your corner, you’ve got me and the whole Fortem crew right here.
We’re building better lives together. One rep, one class, one step at a time.
Let’s keep going.
