Why Fortem Works and Where We’re Headed

2025 has come to a close and as we start 2026, it’s a good time to reflect on what we’ve built at CrossFit Fortem and where we’re going.
At its core, Fortem exists to build stronger people.
The word Fortem means brave. And we see that bravery every day. Walking into the gym for the first time. Showing up on hard days. Training even when motivation is low. Getting to coach that courage is one of the greatest privileges we have.
Looking Back at What We’ve Built
Fitness works best when it supports real life.
This year, we’ve watched members get stronger so they can better care for their families, regain confidence, and do things they once thought were out of reach. Not through hype or shortcuts, but through steady, consistent work.
We care about durability and longevity. We want bodies that are capable, resilient, and ready for everyday life.

- Staying active, independent, and confident as the years go on
In a world that encourages sitting and slowing down, we help people move again. When training is done right, it builds you up instead of breaking you down.

Members of all ages and fitness levels train together and move forward as a team. That culture is intentional, and it is what makes our gym sustainable, supportive, and fun.
Looking Ahead to 2026
Next year, our commitment stays the same. We will keep building on what has already been laid.
We will refine coaching, protect the culture, and stay true to what works. CrossFit Fortem will remain a place where people feel welcomed, challenged, supported, and known.

We are grateful for the past year, excited for what is ahead, and committed to the work one class, one rep, one person at a time.
If you were consistent this past year, keep going. Lean into the habits you have built and continue stacking small wins. That consistency matters and it compounds.
